We’ve only just begun.
University Heights, it is amazing how far we’ve come in less than four years.
Together, we’ve made our town an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. We have accomplished so much together. And yes, we’ve only just begun.
BUILDING COMMUNITY. TOGETHER.
MEET MAYOR BRENNAN
I come from a family of teachers, laborers, and salesmen. My dad was a science teacher and was president of his union. My mom retired from a New York corporate investigations firm, and spends her free time spoiling her favorite grandson. My dad’s parents were factory workers, while my mom’s parents were a salesman and a secretary. My stepmom and my sister are former public school teachers. And I went to law school…
SEEKING OPPORTUNITY
When he first ran for mayor in 2017, Michael said the city government left too many opportunities on the table. Economic development was something that happened to us, not something the city actively sought.
Those days are over.
BLOCK BY BLOCK
“The City of Beautiful Homes” was a nice motto, and it served University Heights well for decades. But University Heights isn’t just about nice, well-kept houses, manicured lawns and tree-lined sidewalks.
University Heights is about community. It is about the beautiful, kind people who live inside those homes.
That’s why Michael led the effort to develop a new logo and motto. University Heights is officially “So Much More than Home.”
WE’RE STANDING WITH MAYOR MICHAEL DYLAN BRENNAN
“No one is a bigger cheerleader for University Heights than Mayor Brennan. He truly is Mayor on a 24/7 basis, always visiting local businesses, talking to residents, and offering his positions on issues of importance to our city. I’m proud to support him for re-election.”
“We support Michael for University Heights mayor. His support for local businesses, accessibility to residents, and plans for development all speak to his leadership and foresight for our community.”
“I support Mayor Brennan because he has made University Heights more modern, and he has brought people from many walks of life together.”
“I greatly admire Mayor Brennan’s ability to quickly and comprehensively educate himself on the needs of the community, work with constituents to find solutions to challenges faced by the city, and act swiftly when necessary to make decisions in the best interest of residents.
